Knee Pain

Do you have pain walking up or down the stairs. Do you have pain getting up from the chair?  Do you have pain with kneeling or squatting? These are classic signs of anterior knee pain, which is usually caused by the joint between your kneecap and the bone in your thigh (femur).  If you have not had an injury or are at low risk for osteoarthritis, then X-rays are usually not needed.  Options for treatment may include modifying your activity, physical therapy, using a knee brace and sometimes McConnell taping.  Don’t continue to allow your knee pain to effect your life – we are here to help!
