Yes, our direct-to-patient memberships start at $100/month per individual. This includes open access to your doctor, expanded visits, group-based health coaching, in-office procedures, and preventative care for chronic issues. Nothing is out-of-pocket, so you can focus on health—not hassles!
We do not accept insurance directly or submit claims on your behalf. However, some insurance plans may offer partial reimbursement. We focus on providing high-quality care at an affordable price without the complications of insurance. For more details, contact us at hello@saravitwellness.com.
At this time Dr. Dunbar is unable to see patients that are covered by Medicare. Unfortunately, Medicare has severe restrictions regarding DPC practices that limit our ability to provide the best care possible. In order for Medicare patients to become members of Saravit Direct Health, Dr. Dunbar must “opt out” of Medicare. We anticipate being able to care for Medicare patients in the future and at that time patients will need to sign a separate agreement saying they will not seek reimbursement from Medicare for the services we provide. Yes, telemedicine visits, including phone and virtual consultations, are included in your membership fee. This allows you to access care from the comfort of your home or office.
Yes, an annual physical is included in your membership. We tailor the exam to your age, risk factors, family history, and concerns. We also offer advanced diagnostics for genetic risks, cancer, and heart screenings to ensure early detection and prevention.
The current healthcare system has hidden fees and surprise bills everywhere —we do not! We commit to you that in-office procedures are included in your membership, except the cost of the materials themselves (such as syringes, suture material or the actual medicine being injected). Even in these cases the fee is very nominal, roughly $5-10, which will be billed to the payment method on file. Need an EKG - this is covered by your membership. Need a wart removed – covered. Wondering if you have strep throat or a urinary tract infection - testing is covered.
Yes, pediatric services for children 12 years and older are included in the membership. We support all aspects of your child's development, including wellness visits, school forms, sports physicals, procedures, and sick care. Invest in your family's health!
What is included and not included?
Our care is rooted in your unique health history, genetic risks, and modifiable factors. We go beyond generic recommendations to develop individually tailored prevention and treatment plans to help you meet wellness goals and manage conditions.
Yes, you can still see specialists and go to the hospital if needed. We will work closely with any specialists involved in your care to ensure seamless coordination.
Scheduling appointments is easy and convenient. You can schedule online through our patient portal or by calling our office directly. We offer extended office hours to accommodate your busy schedule.
We believe that controlled substances, including narcotics, benzodiazepines and stimulants have a limited role in a preventative approach to primary care. Dr. Dunbar prescribes them rarely and only very sparingly. We approach chronic pain from a lifestyle medicine perspective and if narcotics are required we recommend establishing with a pain management specialist. We also do not recommend treating anxiety with benzodiazepines but will work diligently to offer and support you with other techniques, lifestyle interventions and non-narcotic medication as appropriate.
Yes, you will always have access to your physician or a covering physician after hours and on weekends. If your physician is unavailable, coverage will be arranged. Prescription refills are handled during normal business hours, typically within 1 business day. For urgent matters, contact us at hello@saravitwellness.com.
This is again one of the amazing benefits of being a member of Saravit Direct Health. You’ll have your doctor’s email address and cell phone number so you can reach out wherever you are. Many illnesses can be diagnosed and treated with a simple conversation or a short virtual visit. We will also help locate a nearby pharmacy and provide prescriptions as needed.
